I am a driven and conscientious individual who enjoys problem solving, thriving on opportunities to make a difference in people’s lives through thoughtful design and consideration of the user’s experience.
I am an organised and motivated professional, thriving on creativity and curiosity. A detail-orientated and dedicated work ethic has driven my passion for design to a career in the industry. As a designer, I am always keen to learn and improve, seeking advice and welcoming criticism. When approaching design problems, I often try to create a solution that is unexpected and outside-the-box. Whether that is through the use of colours & materials or form & style, I strive to deliver experiences that take delicate consideration of the user’s needs, whilst also ensuring a beautiful product is created. Having gained industry experience in Visual Design, I have garnered a particular interest for typography, branding and illustration, developing proficiencies in delivering high fidelity visuals aligned to a design language. Immersion in a large corporate setting gave me invaluable communication and collaboration abilities; I believe that a successful product lies in a designer’s ability to work cohesively and effectively with other disciplines. As a designer now coming out of education, I am looking for opportunities that allow me to apply my skills, knowledge and experience to solve problems in different design disciplines and industries. With a years experience in the software industry, I am interested in pursuing a career in a range of disciplines. As my work shows, this includes User Experience and footwear design.

I was able to explore my proficiencies in visual design and research, alongside my role as a user experience designer. Working across a team of designers and software engineers, I displayed the ability to work as a multi-faceted individual, delivering work that was implemented into the IBM Blockchain Platform.
