ChatterBox: scenario

Placing drinks into the holder units automatically locks them in place, a flashing light on the menu holder unit alerts users to open the menu holder unit. Phones can be plugged in before shutting the door. This release the drinks glasses from the holders allowing users to drink and socialise without distraction.

Specialised glasses and holders

Specialised glasses and holders

Strong magnets within the glass and holding units allows them to be held in place when the holding unit is turned on. Rounded bottoms to the glasses prevent the option of them being used as stand alone items.

Kizzy Noon

Hi, I am an Industrial Designer with a keen interest in designing for environmental and social change.

I am a focused and motivated designer who finds joy in watching projects develop and change as the finer details of design work are developed. I enjoy exploring design ideas through tactile media with method’s that engage users early on in the process. I relish the opportunity to see my ideas come to life. Designing for the security of future generations is more important than ever with great responsibility now placed on designers. I have gained a wide range of skills both at university and during my year on placement, including learning to work within a design team, problem solving, user centred design and using in depth research to improve design work. I aspire to further this skill set in the future with a career in industrial design.
