Optimising kitchens for smaller households: principles and practice
Research project investigating the key issues within the household kitchen in smaller homes. The research methods used to gather the findings were; literature review, surveys, observations and sammie cad analysis.

Sammie CAD
Sammie analysis of a car interior to determine the range of occupants that are able to successfully drive and interact with the car. Based on findings, suggestions for redesign were given.

Reducing the fear and stigma associated with the testing process in children with type 1 diabetes
Development of a glucose monitor for children, targeting the fear associated with testing. The proposal is a child friendly monitor paired with a pricking device that reduces the pain of the experience. The device links to an app that is accessible to the child and the parents/ care givers.

ZERO- a smart city app for the supermarket of the future
ZERO is a smart city app with a focus on the supermarket of the future. The app aims to ensure users shopping experiences are more sustainable, efficient, informative and cost effective.

I am a design ergonomist with a passion for design and a strong user-centered approach to tackling design issues
I am a curious, self driven design ergonomist with a passion for user-centered design and critical thinking. During my undergraduate degree I have developed my analytic skills in user experience design through qualitative and quantitative design research methods. I have undertaken a broad scope of projects that include but are not limited to, redesigning a blood glucose meter for children with diabetes, to assessing the interior of a car using sammie cad software. My desire is to reinvent products to benefit the user in order for them to enjoy their experience.

Experience
During the summer of 2018 I spent a week in Wales working with Orangebox. I worked alongside the ergonomics and design teams to help develop a new sit stand chair. I completed, literature reviews, video analysis, posture analysis and assisted in ideation.
