Arora skincare mirror

Finding the right skincare that works for you can be tiresome and expensive. The Arora smart mirror takes care of your skin for you without the worry, by analysing and interpreting your skin into a simple, personalised routine. Inspired by sculptural forms, Arora fits in the home, merging the lines between technology and décor. When interacted with, the mirror reveals a screen which can perform various tasks.

The Arora brand is inspired by natural light & colour and gradient overlaps of the northern lights, creating a brand that feels fresh like the warmth of the first light in the morning.

The mirror/screen combination yields new methods of interaction, including real-time overlays highlighting the location of necessary product applications. These aspects are adaptable, which is achieved through an integrated skincare product range.

The combined service is uniquely personal, delivering curated products to the user based on initial analysis. This ecosystem presents a hassle-free experience for all users. New products are sent on a monthly basis.

The mirror is detachable from the stand to use independently, for close up use or providing portability. The induction coil allows for charging on the magnetically attached concrete stand or compatible induction charger.

The mirror is purchased and setup with a subscription to the skincare collection. The user is sent a routine of 4 products each month specific to their scanned results. Application is guided daily to maintain and explore their new and constantly updated skincare routine.

I'm Andrew, a designer and photographer with interest in brand and styling.

My perspective of design has changed and matured over the past few years. I like my designs to be about conversation and something that challenges the typical process.
