ATENUA - pump dispensers and charging dock unit
ATENUA monitors device usage to inform the patient of their adherence levels and reduce any doubt over medication efficacy. The device offers reminders for the user to apply their treatment and to replace it when the contents of the dispensers have run out or expired. If the user’s skin condition should worsen, they can inform the device that they are having a flare up and the frequency of appropriate treatment reminders will adjust accordingly.
ATENUA - pump dispensers
ATENUA improves the patient experience by regulating dose sizes and tracking dispenser usage. The pump dispensers contain a steroid cream and an emollient, both of which are required in the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions. Each bottle is programmed to send reminders according the specific needs of each treatment.

Each of the dispensers contain their own built-in WiFi connectivity so that they can be used away from the home alongside the ATENUA app without losing the ability to receive reminders and indicate flare ups. Sensors within the dispensers detect pump actuations and can tell how much treatment is remaining within. ATENUA compatible prescription medication bottles can be easily removed and replaced when they have run out.

The dispensers use an airless pump system with a split piston design that creates a vacuum within the bottles to help ensure that the sterility of the treatment is maintained.
LÖV
LÖV is a loose-leaf tea machine providing modularity in the form of a zero-waste tea jar refilling service. This supports supermarkets to reduce packaging whilst enhancing consumer choice.
LEGO Ninjago 71700 - jungle raider
The first commercial LEGO set I was assigned to work on was released worldwide in January 2020. My brief was to create a more affordable redesign of a previous Ninjago vehicle. The Jungle Raider incorporates a new suspension system which has received positive feedback from LEGO fans. © The LEGO Group

LEGO Ninjago 71717 - journey to the skull dungeons
This is the largest LEGO set for which I was tasked to design the build (released June 2020). Season 13 of LEGO Ninjago takes place in a dungeon environment with each set incorporating a board game element for added play value. This model features an obstacle-ridden, stepping stone path strewn with lava, leading to a villain's hideout. Play functions include an exploding stepping stone and a lowering cage. © The LEGO Group

I have a methodical, consumer-focused approach to my design work and a drive to see tasks through to their completion. I delight in finding playful ways of linking form and function to conceive a product and brand with a comprehensive design language. I enjoy the process of iterative design whilst working in a team, a skill which I developed even further whilst on my placement at The LEGO Group. For the future, I am seeking inspirational opportunities to work within a lively and collaborative environment where every day excites me.

Experience
During my year long placement at The LEGO Group, based in Billund, Denmark, I worked as a toy design intern, designing LEGO sets for the LEGO Ninjago franchise. My experience there helped to develop my skills across the entire design process. I learned the value of seeking regular feedback on my ideas to produce well-rounded and insight-driven design solutions. I was initially entrusted to design the build for the set, 'Ninjago 71700 - Jungle Raider' (released January 2020). Having gained the confidence of the team by the success of this design, I went on to design the builds for a further four LEGO Ninjago Products, set numbers: 30536, 30537, 40374 (released March 2020) and my largest set design, 'Ninjago 71717 - Journey to the Skull Dungeons (released June 2020).
