Dose - automating the process
The current process of drawing up very small doses of liquid morphine with syringes is extremely challenging for elderly patients. Dose automates this process ensuring reliability, accuracy and safety whilst allowing the user to remain as independent as possible.
Dose - dispensing system
The bottle is inserted into the device and connected to a peristaltic pump and an inflatable concertina which provides enough air pressure to facilitate the release of a set volume of viscous medication.
Dose - pain management
The doses of medication taken are linked to a pain score on the supporting app. Doctors, carers and loved ones can monitor compliance and receive a consistent account of how the patient's symptoms are being controlled.
Dose - user interface
The simple user interface provides text, icons, light and audio guidance and feedback to assist the user with the set-up, operation and maintenance of Dose.
Dose - scenario
Dose dispenses pre-set volumes of 1ml - 10ml from a range of standard medication bottles onto a spoon. A flexible silicone spoon head makes it possible to take the complete dose without compromising the form and stability of the spoon.
Dose - addressing the stigma
Patients don't need to feel embarrassed to place the device in their homes: simple and stylish, Dose fits into any home interior.
Tabs. - live project
Tabs. is a series of modules which enhance the experience of digital reading by adding tangible and sensory qualities which currently only reading a paper book can provide. A more immersive reading experience is created, enabling the user to escape from their busy lives. The 'Scent Tabs.' release fragrances to help the user relax and focus on the present moment. 'Progress Tab.' shows your progress in a physical and visual way, encouraging you to keep going!
Tabs. - scenario
'Tabs. Phone' is perfect for when you've got a spare ten minutes at the bus stop and want to use your time more creatively. 'Tabs. Tray' is a docking station at home: there for when you need help unwinding after a long day and wish to improve your reading habits.

I am motivated by current issues and designing meaningful solutions for specific users.
My aim is to create highly functional and beautiful products and experiences which intrigue, steer away from convention and excite. I enjoy experimenting with new ways of making and creating digital visuals and mock-ups. I am observant, have a keen eye for detail and am committed to iterating, prototyping and testing designs until I arrive at the best possible solution for the client and user. I really believe in the power of design thinking and the benefits of collaborating with others. I am looking forward to applying my skills to different and new challenges!

Awards
This year I will receive a Diploma in International Studies as result of my semester abroad at TU Delft. In 2017 my team was awarded 'UXathon Group Award for Best Client Relationship', in partnership with Deloitte Digital and HKU MBA Business Lab. This was an intensive, yet exciting day where we had just six hours to complete the task before presenting to our peers, the judges and clients in Hong Kong.
Experience
In 2018/19 I completed the Interactive Environments Minor in TU Delft. As part of this course we worked together with the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions and in multi - disciplinary teams to create and install various interconnected environments in their new office. The aim was to stimulate knowledge sharing and collaboration. I also had the amazing opportunity to design and build a living architecture system with the architect Philip Beesley. We spent a week creating the 'Anthozoan Veil', an intricate experimental architecture which responds to the people interacting with it. Both highly challenging and rewarding; this project required us to work well and efficiently as a group to meet the tight deadline before the public opening.
